Privacy Policy

Who we are

Clissold Park Fruit & Veg is a greengrocer at 152 Green Lanes, London N16 9DL. We are responsible for the personal information described on this page. You can reach us by phone on 07387 889824 or in the shop, which is open every day.

Visiting this website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it has no forms, so we do not collect anything you type.

• The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, its servers record technical details of each request (your IP address, browser, the page asked for and the time) to keep the service running and secure. We do not use these records to identify visitors.
• The map in the “Find us” section is loaded from OpenStreetMap, so your browser sends your IP address to the OpenStreetMap Foundation when it displays the map. Their privacy policy covers that.

Our social media and Google listing

We publish posts about the shop on Instagram, Facebook and our Google Business Profile. To do that we use a private planning tool, used only by the shop, that connects to those services through their official APIs.

• The tool only accesses the shop’s own business accounts, and only to create, schedule and manage our posts and to see how they perform.
• It does not collect information about website visitors, followers or customers, and nothing it receives is sold, shared or used for advertising.
• Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you follow, comment on or message us on those platforms, what you share is handled by Meta or Google under their own privacy policies.

Photos and videos of people

We only post pictures or videos in which someone can be recognised if that person has agreed. If you appear in one of our posts and would like it taken down, tell us and we will remove it.

Signing in to the planning tool

Only the shop’s own staff can sign in to the planning tool, using a Google account. When they do, we receive their name, email address and profile picture from Google to confirm they are allowed in, and a session cookie keeps them signed in. This does not apply to anyone else visiting the site.

Deleting your data

To have a post that shows you removed, or to ask us to delete any information we hold about you, call us on 07387 889824, send us a message on Instagram or Facebook, or ask in the shop. We will do it within 30 days and confirm when it is done.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to how we use it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
